WRITING

English is a universal language that connects people all over the world. In our writing classes, students will learn grammar, parts of speech, verb tenses, and sentence structures. They will use practice exercises to garner and ensure understanding. The students’ levels are assessed and then students are placed in appropriate peer groups with similar skill levels.   

Writing is completed in almost every class and at times for homework. Classes progress at the pace needed by the students. We move quickly through the areas that the students excel in, and when needed, extra time is taken to sharpen and refine skills. Lessons include a core curriculum which is supplemented with reading, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and activities and games to make lessons more fun.
